The Clinton Bush Hait Fund's programs...

After the earthquake more than 1.5 million people became homeless and lost many of their belongings, including their clothes. When it was time to go back to school, many families didn’t have school uniforms and in Haiti, all students must wear uniforms.

The Clinton Bush Haiti Fund provided money to a group called INDEPCO to rebuild their headquarters and work on an order for 40,000 school uniforms. This meant students began school in a clean uniform and a renewed pride in their school. This also meant that many people were able to get back to work in the clothing industry in Haiti.

The programs shown in this slide show are only a small sample of the programs that the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund supported. Learn more about INDEPCO and other Clinton Bush Haiti Fund programs.
