Clinton Bush Haiti Fund Vice President Nominated to be Haiti’s Ambassador to the U.S.

WASHINGTON – The Clinton Bush Haiti Fund is proud to recognize that Paul Altidor, the Fund’s Vice President of Programs and Investments, has been nominated to be Haiti’s Ambassador to the United States.
Accordingly, Mr. Altidor has tendered his resignation from the Fund. The Fund’s Executive Vice President, Ambassador (Retired) Tim Carney, will assume Mr. Altidor’s responsibilities. “It has been a pleasure working alongside Paul,” Clinton Bush Haiti Fund CEO Gary Edson said. “His contributions to the Fund, particularly in identifying catalytic investment opportunities for long-term reconstruction, have been integral to our work helping Haiti chart its own successful future. While we will miss him, we could not be more proud to have worked with him, and we wish him all the best in his important new role as Haiti’s next Ambassador to the United States.”
Mr. Altidor served as Vice President of Programs and Investments for the Fund since its inception in June 2010. He has been key to realizing many of the Fund’s programs, especially supporting Haitian small and medium-sized enterprises with access to financing, training, and capacity building.
Prior to joining the Fund, Mr. Altidor worked at the International Finance Corporation, a member of the World Bank Group, advising governments on public-private partnerships. He has also worked in the private sector.
