Celebrate Haiti Poster Project
Help kids tap into their creativity to commemorate Haiti
The Celebrate Haiti Poster Project is an opportunity for parents, relatives, educators, and youth group leaders to let kids to share what they are learning about the country through posters that they create. It is also a way for us to share how kids from around the world are remembering and celebrating Haiti's victories.
First, teach your child about Haiti's history and culture, and how it is impacting the Haiti that is being rebuilt today. Then, let their creativity run wild. Ask them to create a poster that will help us remember the devastation of the earthquake, while recognizing the hard work that the Haitian people have done to recover and thrive.
There is only one rule. Somewhere on each poster there should be three words: Remember. Celebrate. Haiti. We've created a document with helpful information on how to start the project today. Click here to view more information on the Celebrate Haiti Poster Project.
Submit a picture of the poster that your child or children make, and we'll share our favorites on our website.
